  • Learnt methods of FEA and CFD, got experienced in Ansys and Fluent to prepare for the project.

Microchannel Separate Heat Pipe Air Conditioning System for Electronic Communication Room

  • Involved in analyzing the working condition and designing the mechanism of the system
  • Assisted in constructing the experimental system, collected and analyzed experimental data. 
  • Proposed to test the input power of the thermostat, instead of directly testing the temperature, to calculate the heat transfer effect to avoid the interruption of the non-uniform temperature field
  • Prepared display boards and a physical model of the system for exhibitions  
  • The 4th National University Students Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving & Emission Reduction Competition, 2nd prize (Awarded for top 10%)   

The Mechanical Design and Manufacturing of Smart Cars

  Member of Smart Car Team, Supervised by Asso. Prof. Ming Yang

  • Designed and 3D modeled particular components for smart cars based on UG and SolidWorks
  • Manufactured aluminum alloy components with lathe, drill, grinder and miller in workshops
  • Tested mechanical characteristic of smart cars
  • Designed the route of smart cars to achieve a certain movement based on SCM
  • The 6th Freescale Cup National University Students Smart Car Competition, 1st prize (Awarded for top 10%)

Solar Air Conditioning Clothing 
 Robotics Institute, SJTU
  Project Leader, National Undergraduate Innovation ProgramSep. 2010 – Jun. 2011

  • Designed the control system of solar air-conditioner clothes based on SCM
  • Made contour design of ventilator converted from turbofan for laptop and took ventilation, simple, compact and artistic into account, 3D modeled the configuration based on UG and SolidWorks
  • Manufactured the ventilator shell with rapid prototyping machine
  • Measured the effect of the product
